Easily one of the best god of wars out there. The jump they made from PS2 to PS3 is shown with the significant change in graphics and visuals. The game play and combat style is the same old god of war but if it wasn't than...well it wouldn't be a god of war game. The story is sadly a climax to Kratos's little saga but it does extremely well to tell it. Unfortunately for some god of war 3 isn't the type of game you can play without having played the first or second, but this usually can define the difference between an epic game or one that just happens to be good by luck and god of war isn't good just by luck.
